Dear Friends- God has given us a big dream and a big task here in Nicaragua. Big dreams and big tasks many times cost big money. Here on this page you will see specific monetary needs for our ministry. We have broken out the list so that you can have any gift directly designated to items that you have a specific interest in. Gifts are tax deductible and guaranteed to be used for your intended purpose.
Please do not underestimate our needs or your ability to help! We value any and all donations. We totally believe that God is in this with us all the way and we are not ashamed to seek the help of Gods army in this area of finances. The reality is that we need your help to see these ministry dreams come true.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and sacrifice to this ministry! We look forward to sharing with you the provision of the Lord and more fruits of the ministry in the near future.

In September of 2007 we started a School of Church Planting. This program is
specifically for men that have been called by God out of a local church to start a new
church plant in a targeted location here in Nicaragua.
At our ministry center we give these men 200 hours of classroom training, church
planting materials and tools, and we also aid them with a 2 year mentoring program.
We currently have 39 men registered and participating in these classes and have
many more on the way! Our team has calculated that the two year program for these
men will cost $15 per month per person. This amount is unaffordable for these
men. Just to travel and attend these classes is a financial loss to their families.
Would you be willing to sponsor one of these men in prayer and in financing for 1
month or more? If so click the "Make a Donation" button now.

Ministry Needs & Designated Donations
One specific and exciting area of ministry to which God has called us is to the very
valuable ministry of encouraging, helping, and training existing Nicaraguan pastors.
Many pastors in Nicaragua lack basic Bible training and are not prepared to handle
marriage counseling issues, prepare sermons using proper Bible study methods,
or handle organizing a church.
Through the use of our ministry center we offer invaluable ministry training classes
and seminars to these pastors. However, just to travel and attend these classes is
a financial burden to these men who are struggling just for daily provisions.
A $30 Scholarship would cover the entire cost of a 3 day training session for one
pastor including: take home resource materials, meals and lodging. Would you be
willing to sponsor a seminar for one or more of these pastors financially and
through prayer ? If so click the "Make a Donation" button now

Ministry Center Operations
In the last 4 years El Centro ABEM has gone from an empty piece of ground to a
developed ministry center that is used daily for numerous activities. Probably worth
now more than $1 million dollars it is totally debt free!
As exciting as this is, it also creates a large expense in daily operations. We have
large gasoline expenses in cutting grass, we have to pay to have guards at our
property 24 hours a day, we have maintenance expenses, and so on.
We are currently working on ways to make this facility self-supporting, but at the
present time it is not.
Would you be willing to sponsor one day or more of ministry center operations at
$30 a day? If so click the "Make a Donation" button now.

We are exploring different ways to make our ministry center self-supporting rather
than relying on missionary ministry funds to pay for daily operational expenses.
An easy way to do this is through the reproduction of cattle, goats, etc., on the 160
acres of farmland we have. Requiring little maintenance, these animals would
graze our land and reproduce. As offspring are sold we are provided a long term
funding source for our ministry center. This would greatly reduce the financial
burden from us and provide a more self-supporting ministry center.
We need start-up money for this project. The majority of the cost is for the original
purchase of the animals and fencing to contain them. Would you be willing to
sponsor the purchase of one or more animals or fences at a cost of $75 each that
would be used to help our center become more self-supporting? If so click the
"Make a Donation" button now.

Blackouts here in Nicaragua are very common. We have scheduled blackouts every
weekday. These periods without electricity have lasted 5+ hours every day.
Sometimes they are from 2-7pm and other times they are from 5-10pm.
At our ministry center when there is no electricity, there is also no water available.
Imagine 60 kids spending 3 days at our ministry center and being without lights and
water during these times.
We need a generator that can supply power for our camp during these blackouts.
We are looking for a high quality, high power generator that can supply power to all
the buildings we currently have and ones that we have planned to build.
A generator like this will probably cost $20,000. Would you be willing to give to our
generator fund? If so click the "Make a Donation" button now.

Currently our family lives in a home which we are renting on a monthly basis. It is
our desire to stop paying rent and live in a staff home on our ministry property. This
would greatly benefit our family, our ministry, the ministry center, future
missionaries, and short term missions teams to Nicaragua.
However, this staff home does not exist. Water and electric lines need to be run and
the home will have to be built. A project of this size will cost probably $60,000.

a Donation" button now.

We are very thankful to have had the funds to purchase one vehicle for our family
when we arrived in Nicaragua. We had hoped to be able to purchase two, but the
prices for vehicles here were higher than expected. A lot of ministry time is
unnecessarily used because of the inefficiency of having only one vehicle. It also
makes transportation difficult when visitors come from the States.
We want to be good stewards of our time and energies and we need a second
vehicle to help us. The vehicle needs to be a reliable diesel 4x4. We will need at
least $12,000 to make this a reality.
